Keynote Speakers
Prof. Zhongbin Su, Northeast Agricultural University
Bio: Zhongbin Su, Professor at Northeast Agricultural University, Doctoral Supervisor, Director of the Heilongjiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Agricultural Information Technology, and Director of the Heilongjiang Provincial Engineering Centre for Agricultural Informatisation. He currently serves as the Head of the Heilongjiang Provincial Expert Group on Digital Agriculture, a member of the Expert Group of the Provincial Party Committee's Cyberspace Administration Commission, a Council Member of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering, an Executive Council Member of the Heilongjiang Provincial Computer Society, and an Executive Council Member of the Heilongjiang Provincial Artificial Intelligence Society. He submitted the following proposals to the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government: ‘On Building a Smart Agriculture System to Lead the Development of Modern Agriculture in China,’ ‘Current Status, Challenges, and Development Recommendations for China's Smart Agriculture Development,’ which were adopted. As the primary technical lead, he assisted the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in formulating the ‘Heilongjiang Province Digital Agriculture Construction Plan’ and served as the head of the expert review panel for the plan's review meeting, providing technical support for policy formulation by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government. His research focuses on computer applications, agricultural informatisation, and agricultural Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.
Prof. Zhijun Wang, Peking University
Bio: Zhijun Wang is a professor in the Department of Electronics, School of EECS, and has served as the Director of Institute of Fundamental Experiment Education since 2005. He obtained his B.Sc. from Peking University in 1986, and M.Sc. from Peking University in 1991 respectively. His main work is teaching, especially the experiment teaching of electronic information. His research interests include electronic system design, integration, and application.
Prof. Wang has mainly engaged in teaching and research work since 2005,and is serving in various teaching organizations including as Vice Director of the Teaching Guiding Committee for College Electronic Information under the Ministry of Education, Vice Director of China Electronic Education Society, Vice Director of the electronic circuit teaching and industry expert committee under China Electronics Society, Director of National University intelligent Internet innovation contest Committee, Director of National Youth electronic information innovation contest. He was awarded several teaching achievements including the first prize of Beijing Teaching Achievement (2005), the second prize of Beijing Teaching Achievement (2013), Beijing Excellent course (2009), Beijing Excellent textbook (2011).
Prof. Wang’s teaching and research achievements are summarized as follows:
1) Electronics information experiment education system: He was responsible for the construction of electronics information experiment platform, including the basic circuit, the electronic design automation (EDA), circuit system, specialty and innovation laboratories. He was also responsible for the construction of electronics information experiment teaching system, including the combination of science and technology Curriculum, experimental teaching content, educational model under the principle of “education tailored to individuals”, and efficient lab and experiment education management.
2) Hydro-Information Automatic Collecting/Monitoring System: One important system for flood control and flood forecasting, which had been widely used in reservoirs and river basins throughout the country. He was responsible for the development of hydro-information remote terminal and central station software. The products he developed had been successfully used in hundreds of reservoirs river basins. The relevant achievements won the second prize in science and technology progress of National Education Commission in 1997.
Prof. Dechen Zhan, Harbin Institute of Technology
Bio: Dechen Zhan received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) in 1993. He is currently a Distinguished Professor and a Ph.D. Supervisor with the School of Computer Science and Technology, HIT. He is also the Vice Director of the Research Center for Intelligent Computing for Enterprises and Services (IC-ES) and the Director of the IC-ES Weihai Branch. He is actively involved in academic leadership, holding positions as the Director of the Teaching Committee, HIT, and the Chairperson of the Software Engineering Technical Committee at Heilongjiang Provincial Computer Federation.
